The Sotto Hirakuto series brings the beauty of Japan’s four seasons into the palm of your hand. This special edition celebrates Hinamatsuri (the Girls’ Festival) with confections inspired by symbols of springtime festivity.

Inside each monaka wafer lies a selection of seasonal sweets, inviting you to see, feel, and taste the joy of the festival in a delightful new way.

There are two monaka designs — (Hina dolls) and (Clamshell) — each containing different motifs:

• Hina: sea bream, tachibana citrus, norimaki, butterfly, two cherry blossom petals, three sparkling konpeitō, and one fortune slip

• Clamshell: butterfly, diamond-shaped hishi mochi, three kinds of shell, cherry blossom, three sparkling konpeitō, and one fortune slip
